dag

The dag scope controls the generation of the workflow diagram.

dag.depth
Added in version 23.10

Supported by the HTML and Mermaid renderers.

Controls the maximum depth at which to render sub-workflows (default: no limit).

dag.direction
Added in version 23.10

Supported by the Graphviz, DOT, HTML and Mermaid renderers.

Controls the direction of the DAG, can be 'LR' (left-to-right) or 'TB' (top-to-bottom) (default: 'TB').

dag.directory
Added in version 26.10

The directory where the DAG file should be saved. The path is resolved against the workflow output directory (outputDir). It must be a relative path within the output directory, and it cannot be used when dag.file is an absolute path. By default, it is not used and dag.file is resolved against the launch directory.

dag.enabled

When true enables the generation of the DAG file (default: false).

dag.file

Graph file name (default: 'dag-<timestamp>.html').

The output format is inferred from the file extension. The following formats are supported:

dot

Graphviz DOT file.

gexf

Graph Exchange XML Format (GEXF).

html

HTML file with Mermaid diagram.

mmd

Mermaid diagram.

pdf

Requires Graphviz.

Graphviz PDF file.

png

Requires Graphviz

Graphviz PNG file.

svg

Requires Graphviz

Graphviz SVG file.

dag.overwrite

When true overwrites any existing DAG file with the same name (default: false).

dag.verbose
Added in version 23.10

Only supported by the HTML and Mermaid renderers.

When false, channel names are omitted, operators are collapsed, and empty workflow inputs are removed (default: false).
